In February 2023, I found myself back in Finale Ligure, doing what I love – coaching mountain biking. Finale Ligure is like a second home to me when it comes to biking. The trails are diverse, offering something for every rider, and the people there are so friendly and welcoming that many of them have become close friends of mine.
During my time in Finale Ligure, I organized and led two mountain bike downhill camps for young riders. These camps were designed to help them improve their skills and get ready for the upcoming biking season. Working with these enthusiastic and determined young athletes was incredibly fulfilling. Seeing their progress and witnessing their passion for biking grow was truly inspiring.
Despite my busy schedule with the camps, I also made sure to take some time for myself. I enjoyed hanging out with my friends, exploring the trails, and just soaking up the beautiful surroundings of Finale Ligure. Being back on my bike in such a picturesque and welcoming place was nothing short of fantastic, reminding me why I fell in love with biking in the first place.
