Film Diary
In 2022, I got myself an old-style camera that uses film, not digital. I also got all the stuff I need to develop the film and turn the pictures into digital ones. But what’s next? Well, I plan to put my favorite pictures on my website and write a little bit about them.
Here’s some info about my small camera, the Leica Occasion AF-C1::
- It uses 35mm film.
- It has two lenses: one for normal pictures and one for faraway shots.
- You can focus it from close-up to far away.
- You can adjust how quickly it takes a picture.
- You can change how sensitive it is to light.
- It can use a flash if it’s dark, or you can turn it on and off yourself.
- It shows you where your picture will focus.
- You can make it take a picture after a delay.
- It runs on a special battery.
- It’s not too heavy, only 345 grams.
Besides the camera, I also have:
A scanner:
It can change old film into digital pictures. It works with different kinds of film, like 35mm or Super 8.
A kit for developing film:
It includes things like tanks for holding the film while it develops, thermometers, and clips for hanging the film.
Chemicals:
Stuff to develop color film.
I’m excited to show you some of the pictures I’ve taken soon!
