A Month in Paradise: My Amazing Trip to Hawaii in April 2022
In April 2022, I got to spend a whole month exploring the awesome islands of Hawaii. From the busy streets of Oahu to the beautiful scenery of Maui and the cool volcanoes of Big Island, it was a month full of fun, new things, and memories I’ll never forget. My good friends Isi and Nina came along, and what started as a dream turned into a really special time.
Oahu
We started on Oahu, with my all time favourite buddy Isi by my side. We checked out the busy streets of Honolulu, had fun at night, and learned about Pearl Harbor, which was really interesting. Nina even stopped by for a bit, and we did something wild for our birthdays – we went skydiving! It was super exciting, and now I’m thinking of getting my skydiving license!
Maui
After saying goodbye to Isi, I headed to Maui on my own. There, I spent days exploring the endless sandy beaches, swimming in the warm ocean, and getting better at surfing. I even saw turtles while surfing, which was amazing! I liked it so much that I got a tattoo of a turtle with a palm tree to remember it.
Big Island
My last stop was Big Island, where I saw the cool Volcanoes National Park and relaxed at the Mermaid Pools. I walked through fields of lava, saw lava flowing, and saw the huge crater of Kīlauea. I also spent a lot of time snorkeling and enjoying the quiet black sand beaches.
