In March 2023, I went on a trip to find good spots for future mountain bike camps. This time, I went to Italy, to a place called Elba Island. I was surprised because the island was very quiet and almost empty at this time of year. The local people seemed surprised to see tourists during this time too. Even though it rained a lot, it was easy to find the bike trails, and the rain made the landscape look fresh and lively. Though it was a bit tougher than I expected, I still had a lot of fun on this trip and learned some new things. However, I don’t think Elba Island is the right place for future camps.
